Positive: The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They provided a 7 day itinerary of things to do in advance which was handy. The villa is very modern, clean, one of the best showers we have encountered travelling around Asia, very powerful and hot. Nice toiletries were provided. The villa offers a laundry service, which was quick and reasonably priced. The quality of the wash was the best we have had. Quiet and private location, short walk to a very nice beach bar, which also has beach yoga every morning. Uber and pick me worked well, and it was very easy to get to the old fort in Galle for the day and to organise onward travel.

Negative: We would have liked more options at breakfast, every day is different so there is variety but it is 1 set option, you don’t have a choice. We understand their normal chef wasn’t available during our stay so this may not be the case all the time.
