Villa Cerreto is located in a hilly position in the Chianti region, just 14 km from Siena.
Dating back to 1700, the property is the home of an ancient, noble Florentine family who founded a famous fashion house.
Immersed in the typical Chianti landscape between green vineyards and rolling hills, the villa is surrounded by a well-kept private garden with lawn, flowers and several terracing from which you can admire a stunning view of the Siena countryside.
Inside the garden you will find a beautiful infinity pool (18 x 4 m) with deck chairs, open from 1st May to 30th September.
Villa Cerreto also boasts a splendid solarium terrace, equipped with a dining table for 14 people, deck chairs and parasols, ideal for relaxing alfresco while enjoying the fabulous panorama.
Moreover, at guests' disposal an ancient pizza oven, a barbecue, and a private outdoor parking.
Near the villa but separate, there is also the staff quarters (who works inside the property), and the house of the keepers (with entrance from the solarium terrace, but without facing the villa, so the utmost privacy is guaranteed for guests).
Internal Description
Built with exposed stone and completely renovated, Villa Cerreto is spread over 2 floors, and can accommodate up to 14 people, has 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
The villa is equipped with Internet Wifi, air conditioning and two refrigerators. We highly recommend you not to overload the fridges otherwise they may not be able to keep the temperature low enough. For these reasons, guests are advised to go shopping every 3-4 days.
Pets are accepted on request. Please note that children under the age of 12 are allowed up to a number of 4 per booking.
A baby bed and a high chair are also available.
The ground floor houses a large living area with a dining table for 8 people, a fireplace and a wooden kitchen island, fully equipped with: breakfast/lunch area, oven, microwave, stove, dishwasher, two fridges, coffee machine, grill pan and toaster. From the kitchen two French windows allow direct access to the garden furnished with table and chairs.
On this level there is also a cool room with two French windows that lead directly one to the external solarium terrace and the other to the internal courtyard where there are three service rooms (ironing room with toilet, laundry and a pantry room) while on the upstairs you will find a sitting room and two twin attic bedrooms, both with bathroom with shower. The height of the the ceiling of these bedrooms is variable (being in the attic) therefore they are more suitable for children.
Also on the ground floor there is the sleeping area made up of three large double bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms (two of which with bathtub and double sink and one with shower and bathtub).
From the main entrance on the ground floor, climbing a staircase, you can reach the first floor where you will find a large and bright living room, furnished with sofas, armchairs, tv and panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Next there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with bathtub and double sink).
The sun terrace leads to a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with shower) and independent entrance.
Prices and conditions
Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas and electricity); Internet Wifi; daily cleaning (Thursday and Sunday excluded); final cleaning; weekly linen change; prearrival shopping; continental breakfast prepared 7 days per week (cost of ingredients is to be paid extra); house, garden and pool maintenance.
Excluded from the price: Extra linen change (20.00€ per bedroom/bathroom); chef on request (180.00€ per service). Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).
Security deposit: Customers are required to pay in advance (bank transfer) 4,000.00€ security deposit, which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.
