Positive: The apartment itself and the complete environment are very tidy, and it has all the needed equipment. Also the swimming pool is kept clean and immaculate. For those who want to spend the holidays quietly in a secluded environment in the mountains, this could be the go to place. Also the view and sunset/sunrise are stunning. Franco is very nice and helpful in explaining everything and keeping the property spotless.

Negative: When you arrive at the place, you get all the 'houserules'. It is clear to me that those need to be in place, but we're adults, with a 7 yr old with us, and we want to relax. After a long drive we don't need to be told that we're not allowed to have parties, to have visitors over or to make noise after 11PM. Also in the apartment itself, the houserules are everywhere on doors etc. The Wifi is very bad (most of the time not working) Now... even though there seem to be rules, they don't work very well, because the apartment below us has been making noise on their terrace until way later than 11PM. The day before leaving the property we got a message that we need to clean the apartment. (Pull off sheets, clean apartment with broom, do dishes) We always leave our properties very tidy, but the cleaning part was not on the booking confirmation. We already booked apartments where cleaning was clearly mentioned, and sometimes you then get a deposit back afterwards, but this is an apartment where this was not one of the rules. But on top of that, we got remembered once again (also upon arrival, when all the rules were told) in an email the day before leaving that we need to leave the apartment before 9AM. Next to the fact that I find 9 AM a ridiculous early hour to leave (but that we knew in advance, so was not a surprise), it is totally unnecessary to send another extra reminder on it. It ruins all the fun and relaxation to be bombarded all the time with everything that is obliged and is forbidden. The only rule on your holidays should be to relax and have fun. Also the distance to Tropea is quite a walk (40 minutes), and if it's hot, the 180 height meters difference is to be taken into account.

Summary: A bit uptight but the place is wonderful
