Parking: Street parking is available for those driving. Please be mindful of local parking regulations to avoid fines, especially during peak season when spaces are limited.
Beach Access: The main beach is accessible via 742 steps, a strenuous return journey for many. For convenience, we recommend using the local bus service, which operates every 15 minutes during peak season and every 30 minutes off-peak. Tickets are cheaper when purchased in advance.
Pre-Authorization of Credit Cards:
We ensure the security of your booking by pre-authorizing your credit card 17 days before your scheduled arrival. This authorization will cover the cost of the first night's stay for each reservation. Should we encounter any issues with the pre-authorization, we regret that we will have to cancel your booking to uphold our policy standards.
Credit Card Charges for Non-EU Cards:
For our guests using non-EU credit cards, payments will be processed in the local currency by our bank. Please note that the bank's exchange rate includes an approximate surcharge of 3% above the base rate, reflecting transaction fees.
Mandatory Cash Deposit and City Tax payment:
Upon check-in, a cash deposit of 10 euros is required. This deposit is crucial for covering any incidental charges during your stay. City tax is due on arrival and is a mandatory tax which we collect and pass to Positano's municipality.
Cancellation and Modification Policies:
For bookings that can be flexibly cancelled or modified, we provide a 72-hour cancellation policy and a 168-hour (7 days) modification policy.
Hostel Policies:
External Alcohol: For the respect of our licensing agreements, we kindly ask that you do not bring outside alcohol into the hostel.
Check-In: Available daily from 3 PM to 10 PM.
Luggage Storage: We offer luggage storage before check-in (starting at 11 AM) and after checkout (until 4 PM). Please note, access to other hostel facilities will not be available outside your booking period.
