Summary: Honestly, I would rate this a 4.5 stars if I were able to. The location is fantastic. You can get to almost anywhere in Rome in under 30 minutes walking. We found some great restaurants in the neighborhood and absolutely loved the area.The only reason I am downgrading it just a touch is for two reasons. First, you have to understand that there are many levels of steps to climb to get to the apartment. If you have any mobility issues or are unsteady on your feet, or even aren't in the best shape, the steps might be a challenge for you. There were definitely a couple of nights where we relied on the handrail more after a long day exploring Rome :-)The second is pretty minor and not really an issue with the apartment per se. We stayed at the end of July and it was particularly hot in Rome when we were there. The first day we were there it took the wall mounted AC unit a while to cool things down to make it more comfortable. By the second day, we were pretty good to go. So keep in mind that if you are unused to the extreme Rome, heat and humidity in the middle of the summer, you'll just need to give it some time to cool off so it's more comfortable. A decent sized fan for the apartment would have definitely helped with sleep the first night.All in all, a very nice day and would recommend.
