Positive: Nisha the host is lovely, caring, talkative and a good cook. We loved the string hoppers that we made from scratch (interactive cooking session is free but you pay for your meal). We were made to feel very at home and the large outdoor lounge area is very comfortable. Nisha came with us to flag down the correct bus to Kandy. Snowy the dog is lovely and fluffy.

Negative: Mosquito nets needed to be stretched to near their limit. Not a fault of the homestay but Polonnaruwa is HOT so air con is a good idea and we should have paid for it.
