Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Attic apartment tastefully decorated and fitted out with sufficient sleeping space for up to 6 people. As it is located above the living quarters of the home owner, you will be given assistance and help throughout very easily if needed. We booked late for an unexpected last minute stay on our business trip and the host was available to welcome us for check-in and show us around even at a late hour and with short notice. Additionally she was extremely friendly and welcoming adding a personal touch to the entire stay, a real pleasure! The property is located at a relatively short distance from Turin city making it easy to reach the centre by car, while at the same time guaranteeing a very quiet and bucolic atmosphere ideal for a night or two of good sleep away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Bonus point, a nice and large garden with outdoors furniture will provide an ideal setting for some relaxing times in the evenings for a meal al fresco or a glass of fresh wine. Overall very highly recommended if you are looking for a good value for money compromise between quiet surroundings and accessibility to the city; the friendliness of the host just adds that personal touch to make the entire experience even more welcoming.

Negative: Nothing really negative in objective terms. Only a couple of points to keep in mind that might be important for some people to consider: -The property is well ventilated but lacks a traditional air-conditioning system which is instead replaced by portable coolers. It is in my opinion largely sufficient, especially given that it's location at relative altitude is not prone to suffering from extremely high temperatures in average; Although on really hot days, being an attic, it might warm up and take some time to cool down. Again, not an issue in my opinion, but for those people that cannot live without 19 degrees AirCon, this is worth considering. - Attic space means that the ceiling is not horizontal and wooden beams run throughout. Keep it in mind if you are a tall person as you might find yourself having to refrain from standing up fully straight in some corners when moving around, and you'll have to get creative with the position to assume in the shower.

Summary: Comfortable stay in good location made great by a perfect host.
