Summary: Not as touristy as the neighbouring islands, but well worthwhile for 3 days, even longer if you just want
peace and quiet and enjoy the local life. Picturesque harbour, marina with excellent bars and restaurants. There are local buses, but the island is small, so walking is no problem if you are fit, and able to dodge the cars, scooters and bicycles, even electric ones . Funny but the locals do not seem to be worried about the traffic at all! One minor problem was returning one evening and finding the gates closed. Thinking they were locked, we luckily could climb over the side wall! Turned out it was not locked at all, but finding the knob in the dark after some glasses of wine!! All in all ,an enjoyable stay with friendly and helpfull staff.

Summary: Close to the Chiaia beach (oh, the stairs! 179 one way) but well worth the walk, and good exercise besides! Great apartment, nice for family, reasonably priced, great view, in the heart of Procida! The roof-top terrace ROCKS, we spend a lot of time up there, eating meals, and just hanging out. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. Although, they could provide more then 1 roll of TP for your stay.

Summary: Beautiful location on Isle of Procida. Hotel was very clean, spacious and nicely equipped. We had efficiency with kitchen with separate bedroom. Unit also had private balcony. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night--wish we could have stayed a couple of weeks.

Summary: My wife and I spent Holy Thursday night in Procida at Le Grand Bleu, and left on Good Friday afternoon for Pisa. We came to Procida specifically for the Good Friday procession which is hundreds of years old and consists of floats which the residents spend all year making, and which they literally carry through the streets. The procession starts early in the morning, winds its way through the city, and then ends in the harbor. We were lucky to get a room at the Le Grand Bleu as there are not many places to stay in Procida. Le Grand Bleu is essentially a guest house which has 11 apartments situated on 3 floors. We were met at the harbor by Christine when we arrived by ferry from Naples, and were driven to our room. Everything was clean, basic, and no frills, but our room did include a stove, a refrigerator, and a little terrace where we could sit outside.
