Summary: We knew we were in for something special and unique from the website and other reviews, but Moyseion still exceeded our expectations. They communicated in advance and recommended parking with a free shuttle service to the hotel. From our first look, we were blown away. The hotel was right in the heart of the sassi with incredible views from our room - room 12. We had a lovely welcome and welcome ceremony before heading to our room which was like something from over 2000 years ago but with all the mod cons. We swam in the pool which was so relaxing and like a warm bath in a beautful setting with robes and slippers provided. We were then entertained with an immersive experience into the world of Ancient Greece/Magna Grecia. As an extra treat, there was a personalised experience because it was our 40th wedding anniversary. We later attended the symposium and after more stunning music and dancing, we talked with the artists about their work, arts and performance with authentic food and drink. Breakfast the next day also included music and a beautiful selection of foods reflecting the authentic character of the hotel. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful as well as passionate about their work and the hotel concept. A delightful experience we will never forget. Make sure you arrive early, don't book dinner until 8 pm at the earliest or a tour until 12 noon to allow time to enjoy all the hotel has to offer (parking company tour did a 12.00 tour which worked perfectly)
