Positive: The apartment is in a great location, close to shops and restaurants. It is nicely renovated and spacious. The second bathroom is a bonus, and the property was very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped with glasses, crockery and cutlery, etc. and the dishwasher works well. The toaster and kettle worked well too.

Negative: * access is only via an electronic key, which didn’t work on my Apple phone. Fortunately, it worked on my sister’s android phone but we had to make sure it was always charged so we could get back into the apartment. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, this was a concern. * the air-conditioning did not work properly, which is terrible during summer. We had the AC on maximum for our 4 night stay, and the living room did not get below 26 degrees. The AC did not reach the bedrooms and they had no fan, so they were very hot during the night. We told our host about this problem and he just told us to run the AC day and night. * the main bathroom only has a bathtub, no shower. * the apartment was advertised with ironing facilities but the iron didn’t work and there was no ironing board. We asked for a replacement iron and it took 2 days to arrive after much insistence. * the washing machine is good but there is no drying rack to hang the clothes after washing.
