Summary: We’ve been to Sand Dollar 5 previous times but we won’t be back. The location is excellent but this property should be removed from VRBO (and others) until serious upgrading and new property management. (We found out that the owner isn’t well and probably won’t return to the island). The “caretaker” was away when we arrived and apparently didn’t know it was rented. The gas was off! Unkempt, dirty, rodent droppings; appliances, fixtures, utensils all lacking and/or in bad repair (no hot water in bathroom sink, shower head corroded).Caretakers indifferent. Grounds and amenities neglected. Really a shame. Bill H & Karen B.
