Summary: This is a true gem. We chose it because we wanted to spend time in Venice without staying in Venice. Treviso was a natural and Palazzo Bortolan came highly recommended and lived up to expectations. Staying in an old Italian mansion was an experience. Great staff, beautiful room, terrific location on the Sile River, close to the train into Venice , and without the throngs of tourists
