Positive: We spent the first two nights of our holiday to Sri Lanka and it was a incredible start. We received a warm welcome, with a welcome drink, flowers, snacks and a cold towel. The incredible service continued for the rest of the stay, Upali who looked after us was a credit to the hotel. The food in the restaurant, as well as the cocktails in the bar were fantastic. The rice and curry was one of the best we have had in our whole holiday. The location is perfect for visiting the Sigiriya attractions, and tuk tuks can be arranged to take you wherever needed. The paddy dwelling was incredibly peaceful and equipped with everything needed for your stay. We also enjoyed walking around the hotel grounds and visiting their farm, as well as watching the local wildlife including wondeful bird life and monkeys.

Negative: The taxi prices quoted were pretty expensive, more than double what we were quoted by Kangaroo Cabs and similar companies. We don't mind paying more for a good service, but this seemed particularly high.
