St. Mark's Basilica - around 350 yards walking from the apartment. San Marco is a great choice for travelers interested in museums, history and romance. It is also very close to the first shopping area of Venice. And the vaparetto stop (water buses) is only two blocks away!
Is has a beautiful unobstructed canal from both bedrooms (and both bathrooms!) which is a big plus to soak in the Venetian atmosphere.

Summary: The apartment is exactly as advertised. It is in a perfect location which gave us the best possible Venetian experience. The apartment is newly remodeled and has wonderfully sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and 2 almost identical bathrooms. The Host, Irene was very helpful with suggestions of the surrounding restaurants and activities nearby. When ever we return to Venice, we hope this perfect location is available to greet us again. Thank you Irene for your professional and kind assistance to make our vacation perfect.
