Cozy and romantic house in the medieval village of San Pio di Fontecchio, which respects the typical character of the village and its rural inclination, a true plunge into the past and into the pristine green of the Sirente Velino natural park.
It is an ideal accommodation for four people in a characteristic building on three levels furnished with period furniture and renovated while maintaining the characteristics of the place. The kitchen is fully equipped with provisions to allow a comfortable stay and we provide sheets, towels and a hairdryer. We do not serve lunch or breakfast, but we provide guests with coffee, sugar and excellent homemade jams!
In addition, we provide guests with all the tourist material to learn about the area: brochures of places of art and natural interest, maps for splendid walks along the river, in the mountains, among the woods and of course the addresses of all the restaurants that serve the best typical products of Abruzzo.
You will also find large common areas with trees and tables, armchairs, deck chairs, above-ground pool and barbecue. The structure is very close to the spectacular Stiffe Caves and Lake Sinizzo, half an hour's drive from L'Aquila and an hour from the city of Sulmona and Campo Imperatore.
