Summary: This is a nubian ecolodge, so if you decide to go for it you must have very clear what does it mean: no fridge, no air conditioning but fans, a lot of walking, spartan rooms with no wifi etc. However, this is exactly what you would expect from a place like that. So it meets the expectations just brilliantly. The place is located on an island, right in front of the Philae temple. This gives a surreal, romantic and fantastic scenario. Really recommended. The little boat ride offers a great view of the Philae temple. Quite a bonus. The restaurant offers all types of food, so it's a great option also for dining with a great view of the Philae temple.
