Positive: Nirosh, the owner’s son, was a great host, wanting to help with anything. The house and room is very clean, modern, and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and very modern with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The reality looked even better than the pictures! The veranda in the back looks out onto fields and the Mahaveli River - very beautiful. Good breakfast and when I said I had a long train journey, they gave me a simple packed lunch for free. 25 minutes by tuk to Kandy and 10 minutes to Peradeniya.

Negative: All good. Wifi was a bit spotty in my room at times but had excellent signal strength in the guest living room area.

Summary: Very modern, comfortable home with excellent host service.
