Positive: Amazing roof top terrace with view of duomo and sea. Great venue for drink in wine and eating cheese. Property was spacious and had copious quantities of water in fridge and food items on table. Kitchen well equipped and plenty of room even with sofa bed. Lovely location off alleyways. Great communication with host who met us at bottom of steps. Giorgio slung my daughter’s 23 kg suitcase on his shoulder and escorted us up the 90 odd steps. The man’s a god.

Negative: We were wary of the steps but it was worth the effort. You only have to do it once with bags. If you aren’t up for the challenge then maybe not for you. Shame. Only minor criticism was the sliding door into single bedroom was hard to open and close. Easy fix though.

Summary: Worth the climb just for the view and the terrace. Had everything you could ask for and then some.
