Summary: I had high expectations for this property due to the historic nature of the building, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst accommodation of our entire trip through Italy. We stayed in a variety of places—hotels, Airbnbs, agriturismos—and this was by far the most disappointing.
The main issue was the bathroom, specifically the hot water supply. As a family of four, having reliable hot water is essential. Sadly, it was completely inconsistent. Sometimes the hot water would stop midway through a shower, and I was the most unlucky one-- never had any hot water at all—despite waiting 10 minutes each time, standing in freezing conditions (it was 12°C that night). It made what should have been a relaxing experience after a long day sightseeing, uncomfortable.
The only reason I’m giving any stars at all is because of the wonderful service from Giuseppe and Marco. Giuseppe in particular went out of his way to help us—he found us a nearby parking garage, fixed the Wi-Fi when it wasn’t working, and was always quick to respond to messages. Their support was much appreciated, but unfortunately, even their best efforts couldn’t resolve the ongoing water issues.
I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this experience impacted our trip, and I feel it’s important to share for anyone considering this property during the colder seasons. Until the water issues are fully resolved, I can't recommend this place.

Summary: A wonderful, intimate experience. My only complaint is the difficulty finding overnight parking (I used an app to reserve a spot at a location about 15 minutes away on foot).

Summary: The property is very unique, being housed in a former monastery, attached to a stunning church and historic catacombs. The district where it is located, Rione Sanità, has been the project of a group of locals for several years who have worked hard to revitalize it, make it safe, and restore the historic sites. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable, there are nearly unlimited amazing food options within walking distance, and enough history in the city of Naples to satisfy the thirst of anyone with a curiosity for it. Don't be deterred by the "working class" look of the neighborhood, that is part of its charm, and one of the things we loved most about our stay!

Summary: Very roomy and it makes you feel like you live like one of the locals. The host was very accommodating and hospitable with us, even after arriving later than we planned (we drove from Palermo and took a while to arrive). The people around the neighborhood all appear to be friendly, from the pizza place to the market directly across from this B&B. There’s a parking garage one half block down which was convenient for us. I guess that’s the main takeaway from me — everything was convenient. Thank you!

Summary: Definitely a little creepy that it’s located above a catacombs museum and was previously a monastery. Once you get over that, it’s a pretty decent place to stay! Staff are nice and the breakfast service is pretty good for the price too

Summary: I was very happy with my stay at this B&B. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was adequete, the staff were all very nice and helpful. The area (Sanita) is very interesting. I liked it because it was the same kind of area where I teach in the USA. Area looks impoverished. I had absolutely no problem or safety concerns in this area. 10-minute walk to the subway station. I would stay here again and recommend it to easy-going travelers.

Summary: In maybe what might be considered not the best section of Naples, this B&B is a real gem. It has no glitz and glamour but it is truly a standout. As a converted convent, it is owned by the church and run by a group of young men dedicated to helping at-risk youth in difficult situations. Our room was clean, well appointed and conformable. Although we took advantage of our little balcony to appreciate the unfolding of everyday life below us, we certainly appreciated the soundproof windows. Our breakfast was pretty typical and always served with enthusiasm. Enzo Casanova was our young host and happily available to direct us or answer questions. The Sanita neighborhood is bustling, colorful, messy and full of wonderful people willing to answer questions. Don't forget to ask Enzo about the little eatery walking distance down the street. We were always careful walking at night but never felt threatened. An added bonus are the catacombs and the church itself. Staying here was a most unique experience we will never forget and high recommend.
