Summary: The location of the villa is exactly as others have said - only a short walk to a wonderful sandy beach, which although very busy in August, had plenty of room. There was a more or less constant breeze blowing off the sea which was very comfortable but on a few days, became quite strong and made the sea very rough. This was fun the elder children but too much for very small children and a point to consider if looking at this coastline of Sardinia. The villa itself is lovely, very unusual and quirky but is in need off a little attention. The main issue we had was that the pool lining had been damaged previously, causing a leak and the need for us to constantly (twice daily) top up the water level to ensure the pump circulation and filtration system kept working. Another point, which wasn't clear from the description is that one of the two ground floor bedrooms is only accessible through a separate door with no communication to the main part off the villa. This was not a problem for us but could be to others. The local manger Amelia was absolutely brilliant and helped us on a number of occasions. All in all a brilliant holiday, lovely location and very quirky villa. We were a party of 6 adults and 6 children.
