Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I stayed at B City Villa for 2 nights. The host was polite and welcoming.

Negative: I booked a room with a private kitchen, but unfortunately, there was no kitchenware provided—not even a glass to drink water. I had to ask for basic things. Also, the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all during my stay. The bed provided was broken and had been patched with a wooden board. It was very uncomfortable, and I couldn’t sleep properly. Through the host, we arranged an Ella city tour with a local driver who promised to take us to 5 major spots. However, he skipped Ella Rock claiming it was too far and took us to another place of his own choice without informing us of any extra charges. At the end, he demanded more money. Throughout the day, we even paid for his meals and parking. It was disappointing and unprofessional. Additionally, PickMe doesn’t operate in Ella due to a local tuk-tuk syndicate. This made local travel inconvenient and overpriced.
