In Tenaglie, the Antiquarium Comunale di Tenaglie is worth a visit, full of finds from the Necropolis of San Lorenzo, including swords, pottery, rings and fibulae, but also the fourteenth-century Church of San Giovanni Battista, which houses a baptismal font from the 16th century and an altarpiece from the 17th century depicting the Madonna del Rosario. Day trips to the peaceful and lovely Corbara Lake in the untouched nature of Parco Fluviale del Tevere, with several hiking trails leading to archaeological remains, take only a 15-minute drive from here.
