Summary: On arrival we (My Mother and I) were warmly greeted by Francessca and shown around this centrally located apartment. The apartment was spotless and the linens were snow white and inviting. The apartment was fully equipped with all one could need for your holiday, even a washing machine, we stayed for just under 2 weeks. Francessca went abroad after a few days and her partner Celestino became the most informative person we had met, he went beyond the call of duty with daily advice, maps, chats and even some fantastic homegrown treats! Celestino was so kind as to take us to a festival that was happening on the other side of the island one evening which was quite spectacular, watching the boats come in and the most amazing display of fireworks from his brothers mountainside restaurant, something we never would have known about had it not been for him. The apartment has a bus stop outside the front gate, the port is a short walk away and beaches within a couple of minutes. There is also a large supermarket 5 minutes down the road. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone of any age (only 3 steps at the front door) The hospitality of the owners is unsurpassed! I shall return!
