Within the natural park "Parco Naturale di Lignano", the ancient property AL CASTELLO is located in a panoramic position on a 35.000 square meter, completely fenced property, immersed in the picturesque hilly landscape of the Chiana Valley between the famous Etruscan towns of Arezzo and Cortona.
The stone house, divided into two very neatly furnished and comfortably equipped units, has been lovingly renovated and imparts a typically Tuscan living atmosphere with its terracotta floors as well as its room ceilings with exposed wooden beams and bricks.
Due to the internal distribution of the house and the separate entrances, it is suitable for 2 friendly families who want to preserve their privacy during the holiday.
The breathtaking panorama from different perspectives can be enjoyed from the charming garden seating areas in the spacious terraced outdoor area. The wonderful infinity pool with waterfall located below the house offering breathtaking views of the valley. In addition to the pool, a pavilion equipped with outdoor barbecue for outdoor dinings will ensure unforgettable evenings. First floor: a wooden staircase leads to the sleeping area with a double sofa bed in a passage room with access to a loggia equipped with table and chairs, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, one double bedroom, one single room.
Upper Floor: 6 steps leads to a further double bedroom with canopy bed.

It is a characteristic apartment divided into three floors and developed in height, overlooking the valley from each room.
Ground floor: Access via external stone staircase with sitting area with single sofa bed, fireplace and TV-sat with dining table (4 pax), fitted kitchen with access to a small loggia with table and chairs. From the living room you access through three downhill steps to a single bedroom suitable for a child (without window) and to a bathroom with shower and washing machine.
First floor: From the kitchen a wooden staircase leads to a double bedroom and a small bathroom (with shower)
Second Floor: Through a staircase you can reach a further double room (on request transformable into a double bed)

OUTDOOR
The completely fenced property with an extension of 35,000 square meter is completely fenced and has two electric gates. The garden, always very well maintained for, has numerous benches scattered around the property and offers many romantic corners ideal for relaxation, to enjoy an excellent glass of Tuscan wine or to read a good book
Children will have fun on the small playground with swing and slide. There is also a tennis table and some mountain bikes. There is one brick-built outdoor grill with water connection above the large round table in the garden and a second barbecue near the gazebo at the pool.
Sport and health lovers will enjoy walking and jogging along the internal path of the property or on the 3.5 km long circular path around the property, which leads through a shaded forest... and your four-legged friends will undoubtedly appreciate such a paradise too as the property is completely fenced. The range of typical Mediterranean vegetation is mostly composed by oak, linden and chestnut trees, olive and cypress trees and lots of colorful plants such as hydrangeas, rosemary, lavender, broom and sage bushes.
POOL
The 7 x 14 meter deep infinity pool with underwater lighting is located in a magnificent panoramic position with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hillsides, forests and olive groves and the Chiana Valley below. A waterfall falls down from the pool down into a basin offering an impressive spectacle thanks to a colorful night lighting.
The pool area is equipped with an original shower disguised into a tree trunk, sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet available to the guests.
The price includes: Electricity, water, cooking gas, bed linen and towels with weekly change, pool towels, final cleaning, Internet Wi-Fi, 1 cot & high chair (on request at time of booking), use of pool when open
