Villa La Marina is an elegant property that has been recently renovated with extreme care in the choice of materials and furnishings; it borders other properties but its privacy is guaranteed by dense native vegetation along the perimeter. The villa enjoys a privileged position in a residential area within easy reach of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Smeralda, famous throughout the world for their emerald sea and bays of white sand and granite rocks, and the most renowned resorts in the area, rich in social life and top-quality services; in fact, it is just a few kilometres from exclusive Porto Cervo and splendid Liscia di Vacca. The property is characterised by the Orosei marble with which the kitchen and the internal staircase have been constructed, and the Este terracotta, found in the flooring of the entire house, but what makes it unique is the wonderful setting that the windows positioned throughout the living area provide with the breathtaking view of the Marina of Porto Cervo, one of the most sophisticated and luxurious ports in the Mediterranean. NB.: The house Borders another property bug enjoys privacy and independence.
Interior:
Villa La Marina has two floors, connected by an internal staircase. A wooden pedestrian gate opens onto a flight of 14 steps that lead to the ground floor entrance, embellished with evergreen trees and plants. A hallway leads to the brightly-lit living area, with large windows looking out over the splendid panorama that extends as far as the eye can see towards the crystalline sea of the Marina of Porto Cervo. The welcoming living room, with large sofa, has direct access out to the terrace overlooking the garden and swimming pool. The dining area, connected to the living room down two steps, is framed by a striking panorama and furnished with a table in crystal and travertine marble. A brick arch and two steps lead up to another hallway onto which open a guest bathroom and the kitchen with peninsula and access to a small outdoor living area with a view of the garden and swimming pool. From this hallway, a flight of 15 steps leads down to the lower ground floor with the sleeping area consisting of a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, a double bedroom (with divisible bed) with one extra single bed and direct access to the garden, a bathroom with shower, a single bedroom and, finally, a bathroom with shower (without bidet) with laundry area (washing machine and dryer).
Park:
Villa La Marina lies within a splendid level garden of 450 sq m, entirely enclosed by dry stone walls, canes and hedges of oleander to ensure privacy. Easily accessible from the villa is the manicured lawn with wonderful olive trees, typical of the native flora and perfect for creating areas of shade for relaxing in. A gravel walkway, illuminated by ground spotlights that create an atmospheric light, leads to the beautiful swimming pool, located in the centre of the garden and enriched by an elegant sunbathing area from where you can admire the splendid panorama towards the Marina of Porto Cervo. Facing the garden is a covered patio with a large table, perfect for spending pleasant summer evenings at sunset and enjoying alfresco meals.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool is located a few metres from the villa, on level land surrounded by a green lawn and a gravel walkway and with a beautiful view of the Marina of Porto Cervo. Rectangular and measuring 9 x 4.5 m with the depth varying from 50 to 160 cm, the pool is edged by precious Orosei marble and has salt purification, internal lighting and submerged steps for access to the water. The elegant sunbathing area is equipped with sunbeds, tables and a large sun canopy. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
